My name is Carol and I am the creator and designer behind Carol Hladik Designs. I love to create Fun and Functional designs that people will love to create and gift. I find inspiration everywhere and constantly have ideas in my head for new designs. I’m always keeping a sketch book for designs I want to create, and I am always adding new ones.

I love to design garments, that look great on every body, and have fun textural or visual aspects.

As a grandmother I am also required to create fun toys for all of the grandkids. I have some over sized toys, and smaller ones for little hands.

I’m the maker and designer behind Pukapuka, a brand that took its name from an atoll in French Polynesia , just because long ago I studied geography and at that time I fell in love with crochet.

Her favourite items to make and design are beginner-friendly blankets, throws, home decor, shawls and garments in traditional and Tunisian crochet. Her designs were featured in crochet magazines and pattern collections for various yarn companies. Most recently, she has been focusing on indie design and blogging.

Hi, I’m Sharon from Jera’s Jamboree. I feel passionate about helping others find a centre of calm in what can be an overwhelming world!

My mum taught me to knit and crochet when I was quite young. Crochet didn’t come easy to me back then. I picked up a hook again about 10 years ago and there’s hasn’t been a day since then that I haven’t have a hook in my hand. A cliché but crochet saves my sanity.

I love working with color and drawing on what is around me for inspiration in my designs.

I’m based in the UK and my free patterns on the blog are written in US crochet terms.
