The Perfectly Patchy Temperature Crochet Baby Blanket is a beautiful way to capture special memories, one stitch at a time. This unique project blends the charm of a patchwork design with the meaning behind a temperature blanket—where each patch represents the daily or weekly temperature over a set period, creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake.

Learn how to crochet a temperature blanket for babies! The perfectly patchy temperature crochet baby blanket pattern is a small temperature blanket that you can make for a new arrival.
I have been on a mission to crochet temperature blankets that are baby sized!
My patchy baby blanket is small and works up fast. The key: you work this blanket in one column per month, and you join each month as you go. No seaming!
This is a wonderful gift if you know the new mom’s due date. Simply pull the weather data from 365 days before her due date and finish when baby’s arrival is expected!
If you are making a historical blanket like I did, you can opt to make it from January 1-December 31 of the year baby was born, or work 365 days ending on the child’s birthday.
I made this historical blanket for my two-year-old child. It is a nice lap blanket for him and one he can pass down to his own kids or a niece or nephew one day!
I hope you enjoy this pattern!
