15 double crochet per 4 inches. After 12 rows, the triangle size is approximately 6 1/2 inches wide X 7 1/5 inches long.
Gauge is not critical for this shawl, but changes in yarn weight or hook size will affect the finished dimensions and drape.

Finished size: 62 inches long X 60 inches wide. this can be adjusted by adding or decreasing rows. The shawl is made with three skeins of yarn. I was able to crochet 92 rows from the yarn that I used.
