Stone & Tide Jumbo Yarn Blanket Pattern

Stone and Tide Jumbo Yarn Blanket Pattern

Stone & Tide is a jumbo yarn blanket pattern with load of chunky texture. It’s a bold yet comforting throw using three yarn colors. Inspired by the quiet strength found in nature, this blanket reflects the steady rhythm of waves shaping stone over time, resulting in a piece that feels grounding, cozy, and timeless.

Worked with simple, repeatable stitches, Stone & Tide is as soothing to crochet as it is to use.

The linen stitch creates a sculptural texture with beautiful depth, while changing colors at the end of each row adds gentle movement without complicated colorwork. The rhythmic stitch pattern makes this an ideal project for relaxing, mindful crochet sessions.

This free pattern is written with clarity and care, making it approachable for advanced beginners who are comfortable with basic stitches. Using jumbo size 7 yarn and a large hook, the blanket works up quickly while still delivering an impressive, high-end look that feels both modern and organic.

Stone & Tide includes five blanket sizes, from a cozy lap or toddler blanket to an oversized throw, making it easy to customize for your space or gifting needs. Whether draped over a sofa, layered on a bed, or wrapped around you on a quiet evening, this blanket is designed to bring warmth, calm, and quiet strength into your home.
